A message from Mitch & Joey Furniss:
Our Brother-in-law, Mike Carter, has made several trips a year for over 20 years to Haiti: to distribute Bibles, to train Preachers, to provide vehicles for Preachers' travel, to provide food & clothing, and to start new churches.
Mike is married to Mitch's Sister, Brenda, who has also visited Haiti.
Because of their efforts of doing the Lord's work in Haiti over the past 20 years, MANY souls have been saved & continue to be.
Sometimes, it's very dangerous for Mike to get back out of the country to get home to the US, depending on the government in Haiti at the time, which is always changing.
The LORD's WORK is being done in Haiti !
The Lord has put this Ministry
OPEN DOOR MISSIONS
into the hearts of Mike & Brenda.
They support many Ministries financially each and every month in HAITI.
Haiti is such a poor nation and even just a "little" American money goes a "long way" in Haiti.
The Haitian People are humble, happy, friendly, and truly know sacrifice.
It is Mike & Brenda's prayer that they also come to know
JESUS CHRIST.
Those supported by Open Door Missions in Haiti are not Haitian people who wish to come to America by boat, but rather are the
Haitian Christians
who want to spread
God's Love & His Word
right where they live.
Matthew 25 And the KING shall answer and say unto them, Verily, I say unto you,
